- Sponsored by Turner Construction Project AbstractThe project consists of construction of a 200,000 sf New Middle School on an existing school site. Work will take place adjacent to an occupied school facility. Existing site consists of ballfields, hills, and old-growth trees. New facility includes a gymnasium and a 643-seat auditorium with balcony. The building is steel frame structure with brick and glass exterior. There is significant sitework on the 50-acre site, including a detention pond and two soccer fields. The detention pond must be substantially complete and capable of holding run-off from the 100 year flood prior to site clearing on remainder of site. Site borings have revealed the likely encounter of rock in some areas. |
